The brand foundation is the canonical, single source of truth for every Adunai product surface. It is iterable but not optional. When a token, voice rule, motion curve, or diagram pattern differs in a product, the product is wrong · not this book.

The mark's geometry is the brand essence. Three elements, three specific meanings · what the protocol enables, what it provides, and what it is.
Movement forward. Aspiration. African builders, users, and economies moving up. The widely-resonant association of gold with value, sun, and prosperity across many African traditions.
The anchor between Foundation and Growth. Concrete, not abstract · trust between parties, between layers, between transactions. The center of the geometry and the center of the value proposition.
Stability. Settlement. Infrastructure. The settlement layer beneath every higher-order product built on Adunai. Double meaning intended · the Foundation that governs, and the foundation that supports.
The mark is what it is.
The geometric purity of the mark is protected. No ornamental additions, no cultural decoration, no 3D treatments, no rotation, no recoloring. The mark stands at its specified proportions in every context.
Construction
The diamond is 5:6 (slightly taller than wide). Top and bottom triangles share the midline. Center ring centered on both axes; outer-to-inner-to-dot follows a 5:3:1 ratio.
Clearspace
Minimum clearspace on every side equals one-quarter of the mark's height. Nothing · text, image, edge · encroaches inside the dashed frame.

Two brand colors. One semantic system.
Adunai Gold and Foundation Teal carry the brand's meaning. The canonical 500-step is what the brand is; the surrounding 11-step scale exists to power UI states (hover, active, disabled), not to dilute the canonical hue.
Primary actions, accents, brand moments, emphasized text. The visual signal that a surface is Adunai. Used with intention, never as decoration.
Structural surfaces, depth, the protocol's foundation expressed visually. Used at scale (backgrounds, hero sections), not as accent.

UI and mono faces are locked. The display face is a placeholder (Manrope) pending the typography lock · the target is a face with strong African Latin extension support, Kigelia LGC or equivalent. This is the structural difference: Adunai renders African languages materially better than typical protocol typography.

Confident, never bouncy.
Adunai's motion language is infrastructure-grade, not consumer-flashy. Two easing curves, both decelerating. Five duration tokens, each with a specific role. Every motion has a job · clarify causation, show state, establish continuity, direct attention. Decorative motion is removed.
Default for most motion: reveals, settles, transitions, confirmations.
Bidirectional transitions where both ends matter equally: modal exit, panel return.
Duration tokens
Signature: Foundation → Trust → Growth
The mark's only signature animation. Elements settle in the order the protocol thinks about itself: foundation supports trust; trust enables growth. Used at most once per session · marketing hero, wallet first-load, pitch title slide.

Adunai diagrams are read carefully by builders, regulators, and investors. They are not consumed at a glance. Brand colors are not decoration · they are semantic encoding. Gold flows value. Foundation teal is the protocol. Neutrals are passive context.
